What we do
Five service lines and one crew list, so the people who install the landscape are the ones who come back to maintain it.

Why Terravana
Most landscape companies hand your drawing to whoever is available that week. We do not. The designer who walked your property stays on the job through installation, and the maintenance crew inherits their notes.
How it works
You will always know what happens next, who is coming, and what it costs before work starts.
We walk the property together, test the soil and drainage, and listen to how you actually want to use the space. Free, and about an hour.
You get a scaled plan, a planting palette, and a line-item budget. We revise it with you until it is right: on paper, not on site.
Our crews handle grading, hardscape, irrigation, and planting in sequence, with a named lead on site and a weekly progress update.
A garden is not finished the day it is planted. We stay on through establishment and, if you like, for the years after.
Selected work
Commercial builds across Texas with our sister company Alpha Bravo Construction — they take the building up, we handle everything outside it.
Before & after
Drag the handle, or use the arrow keys, to compare drought-burnt ground with the same yard once the lawn has come back.
Before
After
In their words
Three homeowners, a season or more after the crews left.
They found a drainage problem two other companies had missed and fixed it before laying a single stone. Three summers later the patio has not shifted an inch.
The same four people showed up every week for the whole build. By the end they knew the dog’s name and exactly which oak my husband was worried about.
We asked for something that would survive an August with water restrictions. It did, and it still looked like a garden, not a gravel pit.
Where we work
We keep our service radius tight on purpose. A crew that is forty minutes away can be on site the morning after a storm; a crew that is two hours away cannot.
Not on the list? Call us anyway. We take projects just outside the radius when the fit is right.
Common questions
Straight answers on cost, timing, and what happens after the crew leaves.
Still unsure?
Call (832) 692-3165 and talk to a designer, not a call centre.
It depends on scope, but we will give you a line-item figure before any work begins, not a vague range. Grounds maintenance is quoted as a monthly amount against a defined visit schedule. Installation, irrigation and erosion-control work are quoted per scope, against your plan set or bid documents, so you can approve them one at a time. We would rather lose the job at the estimate than surprise you at the invoice.
A repair or a zone rebalance is usually one or two days and happens between scheduled visits. A full landscape or irrigation installation runs to the construction programme, and hydroseeding is scheduled against the SWPPP dates rather than around our calendar. We schedule with Central Texas weather rather than against it, so a wet spring can add time, and we will tell you as soon as we know.
That is the whole point of our planting palette. We specify natives and proven adapted species chosen for heat, alkaline soil, and water restrictions, not whatever the nursery has surplus of. Combined with correctly zoned irrigation, an established Terravana garden gets through a restricted August without looking scorched.
Yes. We prepare the drawings your HOA or city reviewer needs and submit them on your behalf, including tree-protection plans where heritage oaks are involved. Approval timelines are outside our control, but the paperwork is not something you have to chase.
Our workmanship on irrigation is warranted for two years and the components for one. Plant material carries a one-year replacement warranty when we also handle maintenance through establishment, because whether a plant lives depends far more on the first twelve months of watering than on the plant itself.
Book a free on-site consultation. We walk the property with you for about an hour, talk through what you want and what the land will allow, and follow up with a written scope and budget. No deposit, and no obligation to go further.

Careers
Everything we promise clients (the same faces on site, work that holds up, nothing subcontracted) only works because we keep good people. So we pay above the local rate, run our own equipment, and train rather than churn.
No formal experience? Say so. We would rather train someone who turns up than inherit someone else’s habits.
Four fields. Takes a minute on a phone.
