Irrigation Maintenance & Repair

Healthy Plant Material, Inside the Ordinance.

Ongoing system care that keeps plant material healthy while helping public and commercial clients stay inside local water-restriction ordinances.

Overview

Two Ways an Irrigation System Costs You Money.

The first is obvious: a broken lateral or a stuck valve runs for weeks and lands on a bill nobody can explain. The second is quieter. A system that was zoned correctly five years ago is now watering beds that have been replanted twice, on a schedule written for restrictions that have since changed, and the plant material is either drowning or dying while the meter turns.

Maintenance answers both. Seasonal start-up and shutdown, an audit that walks every zone while it runs, leak detection before the bill arrives, and controller programming rewritten whenever the ordinance or the planting changes. Backflow testing is coordinated so the deadline is not something you have to remember.

What’s included

Every Irrigation Maintenance Project Covers This.

Scope is written down before work starts, so “that was not included” never becomes a conversation halfway through.

  • System audits and seasonal start-up. Every zone run and walked at the top of the season, with coverage, pressure and head condition written up zone by zone.
  • Winterization and shutdown. System drained and shut down before the first hard freeze, so you are not replacing cracked backflow assemblies in spring.
  • Controller reprogramming for conservation. Schedules rewritten to the restrictions in force and the weather actually happening, rather than left on last year’s program.
  • Leak detection and repair. Breaks traced and repaired before they show up on a meter reading, with the cause recorded rather than just the fix.
  • Backflow testing coordination. Annual testing scheduled and documented, so the compliance deadline is handled without a reminder from your side.
  • Zone rebalancing after plant changes. When beds are replanted or use changes, valves and run times are rebalanced to what is growing there now.

What the repair truck carries

  • Diaphragms and solenoids
  • Pressure gauges
  • Wire tracers and locators

How it works

Four Steps, No Surprises.

You will always know what happens next, who is coming, and what it costs before work starts.

  1. 01

    Consult & Assess

We walk the property together, test the soil and drainage, and listen to how you actually want to use the space. Free, and about an hour.

  2. 02

    Design & Plan

You get a scaled plan, a planting palette, and a line-item budget. We revise it with you until it is right: on paper, not on site.

  3. 03

    Build & Install

Our crews handle grading, hardscape, irrigation, and planting in sequence, with a named lead on site and a weekly progress update.

  4. 04

    Nurture & Maintain

A garden is not finished the day it is planted. We stay on through establishment and, if you like, for the years after.
