Where we work
Rooted in Austin, at Home Across the Hill Country.
We keep our service radius tight on purpose. A crew that is forty minutes away can be on site the morning after a storm; a crew that is two hours away cannot.
Not on the list? Call us anyway. We take projects just outside the radius when the fit is right.

The Things People Ask Before They Call.
Straight answers on cost, timing, and what happens after the crew leaves.

Call (832) 692-3165 and talk to a designer, not a call centre.
It depends on scope, but we will give you a line-item figure before any work begins, not a vague range. Grounds maintenance is quoted as a monthly amount against a defined visit schedule. Installation, irrigation and erosion-control work are quoted per scope, against your plan set or bid documents, so you can approve them one at a time. We would rather lose the job at the estimate than surprise you at the invoice.
A repair or a zone rebalance is usually one or two days and happens between scheduled visits. A full landscape or irrigation installation runs to the construction programme, and hydroseeding is scheduled against the SWPPP dates rather than around our calendar. We schedule with Central Texas weather rather than against it, so a wet spring can add time, and we will tell you as soon as we know.
That is the whole point of our planting palette. We specify natives and proven adapted species chosen for heat, alkaline soil, and water restrictions, not whatever the nursery has surplus of. Combined with correctly zoned irrigation, an established Terravana garden gets through a restricted August without looking scorched.
Yes. We prepare the drawings your HOA or city reviewer needs and submit them on your behalf, including tree-protection plans where heritage oaks are involved. Approval timelines are outside our control, but the paperwork is not something you have to chase.
Our workmanship on irrigation is warranted for two years and the components for one. Plant material carries a one-year replacement warranty when we also handle maintenance through establishment, because whether a plant lives depends far more on the first twelve months of watering than on the plant itself.
Book a free on-site consultation. We walk the property with you for about an hour, talk through what you want and what the land will allow, and follow up with a written scope and budget. No deposit, and no obligation to go further.
